Black History Month

Black History Month

Black History is celebrated in the month of February, but in the sport of boxing, this history is celebrated daily by the impact that African American culture has had on our sport. We honour this impact during Black History Month.

Although the boxing industry certainly isn't perfect, the history of the sweet science is unparalleled in professional sports. Boxing has brought together people from all walks of life. Regardless of size, social status, gender or race, you become part of the boxing community as soon as you enter the gym.

Although the sport of boxing has dealt with many injustices, bad calls, and questionable decisions, there have also been countless incredible champions who have graced the history pages of our sport. People who've given hope, served as role models, took a stand, inspired generations, all while achieving greatness and boxing immortality.
